Our location

We are located at the intersection of Bayside Drive and Lynbrook Avenue in Point Lookout.  Our exact address is 143 Bayside Drive.  For directions to Ted's, please visit the directions page.

    Visitors by boat can find us on Reynolds Channel just west of Jones Inlet.

Boat rentals

Skiff rentals are available on a first come , first served basis.  RESERVATIONS ARE RECOMMENDED!     Rental boats are sixteen feet in length.  Rentals include the skiff,  6 h.p. motor, and gas.   Some rental locations do not include the gas, and then charge you for the five gallons at pump prices.  Bait and Tackle are extra.  U.S.C.G. laws allow only four (4) occupants per boat.  Boats are not permitted in Jones Inlet or the ocean.

A $25.00 deposit is required for skiff rentals.  The deposit is refunded when the skiff is returned to the dock.

*  Fees on rentals are subject to change.  The web site will update any changes when we receive any word from management.

**  Half day rentals are available for the afternoon (12:00 noon - 4:00 pm).  Morning half days may be available on weekdays.  Please call in advance for information on availability. There is no guarantee on availability of p.m. rentals.  We strongly suggest that you call before heading out for p.m. rentals.

Reservations 

        Reservations are always the best choice in rentals.  Please call us at (516) 431-4193 to reserve a boat.   Morning  reservations are kept until 8:00 am.  If you are running late, please call to let us know.  Reservations are not accepted by our E-mail address.

Recommendations

      Before you head out to Point Lookout, you should check the weather.  The weather here in Point Lookout could be different from your location.  The Shoreline can have an effect on the weather.  You could have rain where you are, we may have sun, or visa versa!  Don't be embarrassed to call us for weather information.  You could also get the forecast from our WEATHER CHANNEL link in the "web ring" page.  You may also access the only web cam here in Point Lookout.

       Be prepared for the water.  Consider coolers and definitely sunscreen, even in the Early and Late season.  You can get sunburn if you are not protected .  If you forget these items, we do carry them in the store.   Cell Phones are a good idea,  but we suggest that you keep all electric equipment in waterproof bags( to protect them from  water damage).
